Day 1 – 50mm for 50 days

I decided to play with some photos this evening to keep me from losing my mind. For some reason all of the attributes/options on my store are displaying the same small/medium and large/x-large as the ONLY option. Instead of driving myself crazy trying to figure out what went wrong I decided to work on some pictures.

WHAT I DID:
I took this picture in very low light using my 50mm lens and camera’s flash. Getting my son to keep still is next to impossible.

EDITING:
I recently purchased an action set from MCPActions.com and decided to play around with some of them. I should have recorded which one I used, but of course I did not.

WHY:
I love this picture because my son is always flashing some crazy face expressions, my goal is to try and capture as many as I can before he grows out of them.

There is a flickr group that is launching today challenging photog’s to capture images using their 50mm for 50 days. I decided to participate so I can get more comfortable using my prime lens. I’m used to zooming so it’s been an adjustment.
