The hardest thing about owning an online store when you are also a designer is you see everything as a designer would see it and not how a consumer would. My Hubs says I suck at SEO and Commerce best practices because I’m resistant to anything that “looks” bad or doesn’t flow. So after several arguments (small ones) I have decided to set my designing habits aside and follow his SEO/Commerce suggestions. After all he’s been study with Stompernet and has gotten my site on the first page of Google for the main key words. So he’s got to be doing something right, right?
So with his guidance I have enterily revamped LaLaBabyBoutique. I’m not really in love with the design and there hasn’t been a drastic improvement in sales. But I’ll give it a try and see how things go.
